Production Assistant

Job Description

• Responsible for monitor, track, and record incoming raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and stock levels to ensure continuous production flow.
• Coordinate with warehouse and materials handlers to ensure timely staging and issuance of raw materials to respective production lines.
• Maintain scrap and material usage logs in the inventory management system.
• Ensure raw materials are stored safely, labelled properly, and handled accordingly to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Communicate and liaise daily internal department for materials requirement.
• Maintain neat work area and follow safety rules.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits, investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
• Have a basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
