Job Details

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor daily production activities on the plant floor to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules.
  • Ensure machines, equipment, and tools are operating efficiently and coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of engineering changes affecting components and production systems.
  • Assess and troubleshoot production issues; recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize disruption.
  • Work collaboratively with quality control, supply chain, and maintenance teams to meet production targets and maintain product quality.
  • Participate in production planning, scheduling, and cost control efforts to maximize resource utilization.
  • Facilitate and support technology transfer initiatives to maintain a secure and efficient production supply chain.
  • Manage validation activities to ensure equipment and systems are compliant with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput, reduce waste, and minimize production downtime.
  • Lead or support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma initiatives to improve overall plant efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 25 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and cost control principles.
  • Experience with equipment validation and change management.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience in Medical Device, Automotive, pharmaceutical, industrial.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and manufacturing software tools.
