Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Production Engineer role based in Senai. The Production Engineer will oversee daily production activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and delivery schedules. Responsibilities include planning and optimizing production workflows, monitoring equipment performance, coordinating with maintenance and quality teams, and implementing process improvements to reduce waste and increase throughput. The role also involves preparing and updating production documentation, supporting root-cause analysis for production issues, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as procurement, logistics, and engineering. The Production Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support adherence to relevant industry and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Production Engineering, including knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, troubleshoot production issues, and drive process optimization.
- Experience in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
- Quality Control skills, with the ability to apply quality standards, perform inspections, and support corrective actions.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and preparing clear reports and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and production software (e.g., CAD tools, ERP/MRP systems) is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Senai and engage in hands-on production floor activities.
