• Job Description:

• Process Optimization

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

• Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and minimize waste.

Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the production process.

• 2. Production Planning

Develop and maintain production plans that align with company goals and customer demands.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and efficient flow of materials and products.

Optimize the scheduling of production activities to maximize resource utilization.

• 3. Quality Assurance

Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

• Investigate and resolve any production defects or issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Continuously monitor and improve product quality through process enhancements.

• 4. Equipment and Tooling Management

Design and implement tooling and fixtures to support efficient production processes.

• Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and calibrated.

Recommend and implement equipment upgrades or replacements to improve production capabilities.

• 5. Continuous Improvement

Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production performance.

• Implement best practices in production engineering and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.

• 6. Data Analysis and Reporting

Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Prepare regular reports on production metrics, including efficiency, downtime, and quality.

Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive process improvements.

• 7. Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance

Ensure all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Promote a culture of safety within the production environment.

Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures.

• 8. Technical Support

Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

• Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.

Assist in the training of production staff on new equipment or processes.

• Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in production engineering or a related role within the manufacturing industry.Skills: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.

• Proficiency in CAD software and production planning tools.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Good understanding of quality control standards and safety regulations.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
