Key Responsibilities
Management & Leadership
- Assist the Production Manager/Asst. Manager in managing and controlling production costs, and project schedule improvement.
- Design, review, and update assembly-related workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
- Ensure assembly equipment maintenance, workplace safety, and cleanliness.
Reporting & Coordination
- Monitor and review daily recurring assembly operations without fail.
- Report to Production Manager/Asst. Manager following daily, weekly, and monthly reporting structures.
- Communicate any operation delays (with baseline impact analysis) or unexpected issues to Production Manager/Asst. Manager via group chat or direct briefing.
Development and improvement
- Propose and implement processes changes to enhance assembly productivity.
- Improve assembly workflows, SOPs, and related documentation.
- Enhance assembly quality for both standard and nonstandard fabricated parts.
- Refine production costing methods and execution processes specific to assembly.
- Develop and maintain planning and scheduling systems for assembly.
- Involve product improvement & standardization
Requirement
- Related Degree holders/advance diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Technical training or certification in manufacturing or assembly processes is preferred.
- Courses in electrical assembly, wiring, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Basic understanding of switchboard products and assembly processes.
- Solid understanding of electrical components.
- Familiarity with wiring principles and the ability to interpret wiring diagrams.
