Job Description

Your Tasks:

  • Define, organize, implement and sustain inspection process flow.
  • Define clear work instructions & certify technicians and train up operators. Define process routing in parallel to identify the labor hours and cycle time requirement to complete the part from raw material to finished parts.
  • Initial continue improvement plan continually for current operations to improve product quality, increase productivity, efficiency and better cost saving.
  • Investigate operational problems & production area for improvement and provide solid CA/PA.
  • Liaise with production planner/scheduler for ensure the released products have adequate BOM and process route.
  • Support production through timely documentation, process analysis & improvement, cleaning agent characterizations, and other technical support.
  • Provide manufacturing data i.e. process control charts, reliability test results, process capability, to improve the process. Setup in-process parameters monitor and provide periodic trend update vs planned target.
  • Work with other relevant departments to determine estimated costs, run time, cost reduction and close the feedback loop.
  • Review & update internal specifications, taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes
  • Responsible on visual process performances (OEE, productivity, yield and quality).
  • Source, develop, setup and qualify cleaning recipe for new products,
  • Provide technical advice/ support on cleaning process topic during product design/engineering review phase.
  • Transfer knowledge and handover cleaning recipe to production and support cleaning process technical training as a subject matter of expert.
  • Any work/project assigned to by superior(s) from time to time. Work closely with project team members, suppliers and oversea counterpart.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor in Engineering (chemical, process, manufacturing), chemistry, or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates or Junior Engineer with few years working experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Equipped with all the process engineer skillsets like SPC, MSA, and FMEA.
  • Good Knowledge with materials and interactions with optics and optical surfaces is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of chemical engineering & material analysis such as cleaning agent, glass properties analysis, defect characterizations, etc.
  • Energetic with plenty of initiative, calm under pressure.
  • Understand the critical & important tasks.
  • Able to work with cross function team well and be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Skilled in data analysis.
  • Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
