Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage our manufacturing operations of data in office environment , e.g not a production floor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, quality, cost control, and on-time delivery while complying with company and industry standards.
Our production of data is similar to any type of production with SOP, Checklist , Production steps , Production KPI and you will lead a small team of today +15 people to start with and long term we hope the candidate will have the power to take over all our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Manage production schedules, manpower planning, and capacity utilization.
- Lead and supervise production teams, including line leaders and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards (ISO, ESD, IPC, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S) to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to resolve production issues.
- Monitor KPIs such as yield, efficiency, downtime, and scrap rate.
- Manage production costs, materials usage, and work-in-progress (WIP).
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction), process improvement, and ramp-up activities.
- Prepare production reports and present updates to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- A heart for Data , Software and work with large customers and interactions.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in EMS environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Familiar with production planning, capacity management, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Experience with ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing high-mix, low-volume or high-volume EMS production.
- Exposure to ERP/MES systems.
- Six Sigma / Lean certification is an added advantage.
