Join Ranbaxy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd a SUN PHARMA company as a Production Manager - Packing.
In this full-time position based in Sungai Petani, Kedah, you will play a vital role in overseeing the packing operations to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the daily operations of the packing department, including scheduling, monitoring and optimizing production activities
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards, standard operating procedures and safety regulations
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and issues in the packing process
- Lead and motivate a team of production operators and technicians
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production plans and meet targets
- Analyse production data and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Maintain the packing areas as per GMP/Regulatory and Internal system
- Maintain accurate records of packing operations, including batch records, SOP, logbook and other packing details
- Responsible for submitting reports such as KPI, Supply vs. Commit, and Commit vs. Demand.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
- Strong understanding of packing operations, quality control and lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Pharmaceutical Technology or a related field
- Proficient in the use of production management software and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
