The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. They will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage production department
- Plan and control of processes to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- Maintain an efficient production process with a workforce that can readily adapt to new equipment / processes & schedules
- Monitor operations to ensure planned output levels, cost levels and quality objectives are met
- Ensure end product / finished goods are of good quality and conformed to the specification & requirement of customers and compliance to statutory requirement
- Conduct weekly production meeting with relevant internal and external parties to discuss project progress, production quality issues, procurement matter and etc
- Responsible to provide monthly report
- Responsible to establish Productions Plan (daily and monthly) based on sales Plan from Marketing Department to ensure on time delivery of products to customers
- Responsible to plan production with Operations Staff according to Production Order
- Responsible to establish raw material (BOM) requirements based on the production performance in relation to the production plan
- Responsible to deal with production issues
- Propose improvement to the work procedures as and when necessary
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Production or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in related field
- Strong background in Manufacturing industry with knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 13845 will be an added advantage
- Strong leadership & planning skills
- Ability to work with all levels, good communicator, strong interaction and presentation skills
- Possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills, result oriented
- Preferably from Latex Manufacturing background
