Role Overview
The Mill/Production Planner (APAC) is responsible for developing and managing production schedules, raw material orders, and deployment plans for the diapers business. This role requires strong coordination with manufacturing sites to ensure supply continuity, efficient operations, and achievement of customer service goals. The planner will operate in SAP and work within a tactical planning window of 04 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and release production schedules ensuring optimal use of production machinery, materials, and storage capacity.
- Create and manage raw material purchase orders to ensure timely availability for production.
- Monitor and coordinate purchased finished goods from external vendors to support customer service targets.
- Manage the transfer of finished goods from production sites to mixing centers based on demand requirements.
- Execute changes to production, raw materials, and deployment plans within the 04 week planning horizon.
- Maintain accurate and updated planning information in SAP based on product or material changes.
- Support and lead special projects related to supply planning improvements.
- Provide on-call support to production sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations (site or staff level).
- Demonstrated ability to organize resources, evaluate alternatives, and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build trust across teams.
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP.
