Job Description

Work Location: Senai, Johor

Monthly Salary: RM 3,600 – RM 6,000 per month

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in the semiconductor and capital equipment industries to manage production scheduling and materials planning for designated product lines. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will align customer demand with manufacturing capacity, manage ERP system parameters, and coordinate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery and smooth operational workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production & Materials Planning: Provide professional support in creating production schedules. Input and validate data for Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) based on consolidated customer forecasts.
  • Order & Inventory Management: Align customer purchase orders with active manufacturing schedules. Coordinate shop order releases and material kitting setups.
  • System & Data Administration: Manage system parameters and generate standard reports for assigned products. Process Return Material Authorization (RMA) approvals.
  • Shortage & Lifecycle Coordination: Identify component shortages, collaborate with teams to expedite materials or secure substitutions, and assist with End-of-Life (EOL) analysis and action plans.
  • Tracking & Communication: Monitor shipments against committed customer dates and proactively escalate potential delays or issues to the Lead Planner.

Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • Industry Expertise: Experience navigating the unique supply chain challenges of the semiconductor and capital equipment sectors.
  • Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, MRP techniques, manufacturing control systems, and purchasing principles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard computer applications and the ability to quickly learn and navigate department-specific software, including ERP and office systems. Strong data entry, 10-key, and math skills are required.
  • Execution & Detail Orientation: Ability to adapt swiftly to a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain high accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse mix of internal teams and external customers.
  • Customer Focus: A clear understanding of specific customer requirements and service expectations.

Education & Experience

  • Experience:3 to 5 years of relevant experience in production planning or manufacturing operations, specifically within a fast-paced capital equipment or semiconductor business environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, Engineering), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Note: Educational requirements may vary by geographic location.
