Production Planning & Control Senior Manager

Objective

The Production Planning & Control (PPC) Senior Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing production planning, scheduling, inventory control, material management, and capacity planning activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. The role focuses on balancing customer demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and operational efficiency while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain and manufacturing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production based on customer demand.
• Ensure materials are available to support production.
• Monitor inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, and Logistics teams.
• Manage capacity planning to optimize manpower and machine utilization.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and report key operational KPIs.
• Develop and coach the PPC team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
• At least 3-5 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Good leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
