Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute production planning activities to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and on-time delivery.
- Utilize SAP and/or MES systems to plan, release and monitor production orders.
- Maintain and validate Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and ensure proper MRP execution.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Production and Sales teams to ensure material availability and smooth production flow.
- Monitor production schedules and capacity planning to optimize machine and manpower utilization.
- Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels and production performance to support planning decisions.
- Identify production constraints or bottlenecks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare periodic production planning reports, KPIs and management updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment (automotive industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of SAP / ERP systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Solid understanding of BOM structures, MRP processes and inventory control principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Able to work independently, detail-oriented and capable of handling tight deadlines.
