Company Background:- This company is a newly established company and they have a total of 6 plants. specializes in engineering, designing, manufacturing, and distributing high-quality, performance-driven products across various segments. They primarily produce reliable tools for the power tool industry, with their headquarters based in the USA. Their company is located at Pekan Nanas, Johor.
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production staff in the manufacturing plant.- Ensure production schedules are met by managing resources and resolving any issues that may cause delays.
Monitor production processes to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Ensure that all production operations are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve individual and team performance.
Address and resolve any employee conflicts or grievances that may arise on the production floor.
Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that the products meet the companys high standards of reliability and performance.- Collaborate with the Quality Control department to identify and address any product defects or issues.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- 4. Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to streamline production processes and reduce waste.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
- 5. Inventory and Resource Management
Manage inventory levels to ensure that materials are available for production while minimizing waste.- Coordinate with the supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
Optimize the use of equipment and machinery to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
- 6. Reporting and Documentation
Prepare and maintain production reports, including daily output, labor utilization, and material usage.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all production activities, including maintenance logs and incident reports.
Report any production issues or deviations to senior management and suggest corrective actions.
Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the power tool or engineering industry.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Candidate who is familiar with Chinese is preferable.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
