Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure targets for output, quality, and timelines are achieved.
- Organize and allocate workforce effectively to maintain smooth operational flow.
- Track performance metrics, investigate downtime or quality concerns, and implement improvement measures.
- Uphold workplace standards including discipline, housekeeping (5S), safety, and adherence to company guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Maintenance to address operational challenges.
- Coach and develop production staff and line leaders to enhance skills and overall team performance.
- Prepare and present production reports and performance updates for management review.
- Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in high-volume production industries; background in electronics manufacturing is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
