Manage repair item handling and control for both in-line and outline processes.
Perform Tool, Jig, and Equipment inspections in accordance with the Maintenance Check Sheet (MCS) standards.
Conduct regular Maintenance Check Sheet (MCS) verification and confirmation.
Carry out daily workplace safety and 5S audits.
Verify destination change operations to ensure correct parts are received and used during destination changes.
Conduct TWI-JI (Training Within Industry – Job Instruction) training for new and replacement employees.
Verify work instruction compliance following 4M changes and conduct a minimum of three days of follow-up checks.
Provide on-the-job training (OJT) to operators and team members as required.
Conduct monthly worker skill evaluations (operators and multi-skilled workers) according to workstation requirements.
Perform Critical Process Checks in accordance with applicable standards, including Operating Instructions (OI), Self-Check Cards, Main Points, and MCS requirements.
Conduct monthly OI compliance audits for all workstations and perform 100% verification during start-up or capacity changes.
Investigate Quality findings (GR/INSP), implement corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness.
Prepare and verify line start-up readiness, including line arrangement, attendance, material availability, and 4M confirmation.
Manage production capacity change activities and ensure smooth implementation.
Follow up on NG (defective) part reduction and continuous improvement activities on assembly lines.
Conduct shift briefing sessions at the start and end of each shift, covering Safety, Quality, Delivery (SQD) performance, and key updates.
Participate in and contribute to Kaizen activities, including individual, group, and QCC improvement projects.
Handle worker disciplinary matters, including interviews and counseling sessions when necessary.
Manage manpower productivity through DTS data collection, analysis, and improvement initiatives.
Perform SKYF analysis for quality issues, customer complaints, new model introductions, and process improvements.
Ensure all production-related documents are properly maintained, updated, and controlled.
Lead line-stop investigations through Gemba activities, including WIP verification and root cause analysis.
Manage employee attendance and leave records through the ESS system.
Support and implement Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RBA, and ISMS standards.
Participate in stock count activities according to the company's stock count schedule.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
At least 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, supervise, and motivate production teams.
Good understanding of production processes, quality control, safety practices, and continuous improvement activities.
Knowledge of Kaizen, 5S, TWI, and basic problem-solving methodologies is an added advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
