We're looking to add a Program Director / TCS Director in Senai, Johor.

As a Program Director / TCS Director, you will:

Assists the General Manager and is fully accountable for the revenue growth, profitability and TCS capability of a cluster of customer accounts. This is a customer-facing role with a full P&L responsibility.

Financial

• Responsible for achieving the targets set for revenue, gross margin and profitability.
• Responsible for managing and improving Gross Margin, GM/TC ratio, BOM cost and Total Cost.
• Responsible for meeting the targets set for inventories; minimize Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) through inventory management as per requirement and expediting E&O settlement where required and chasing after overdue AR.
• Responsible for quote proposal and work closely with customers to win new RFQs.

Leadership

• Lead and drive Program Management team and Functional Group Expertise teams to achieve overall objectives and targets set by General Manager.
• Demonstrate exemplary role-modeling examples by walking-around-shop-floor on regular basis and work closely with the assigned Production team and other Functional Group Expertise to ensure TQRDCE KPIs are monitored and achieved.
• Lead, motivate and grow the capability of employees assigned by Functional Group Expertise. The objective is to develop a powerful A team to serve the assigned customers with the aspiration to build a center of excellence for certain strategic and key customers and technology.
• Presentation to management on sales, margin, new business and key performance indicators in the monthly business review.

Total Customer Satisfaction

• Oversee, coordinate and manage new product launch with the help of the assigned Functional Group Expertise teams.
• Review and propose on cost reduction requested by customers.
• Create plans to create the touchpoints to visit or interact with customers to pursue new business opportunities.
• Engage in customer directly to discuss on critical material shortages, delivery, forecast and open issues to achieve on time delivery (OTD) targets regularly.

What skills and experiences are we looking:

• Master/Degree in Engineering or related field, Master Degree in MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of related experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to multitask
• Able to go hands-on where required.
• Knowledge in SAP is preferred.
