Job Summary
The Project Architect Coordinator for KUTS is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of architectural works across project phases. This role ensures design integrity, compliance with standards, and smooth collaboration between internal teams, consultants, and contractors throughout the lifecycle of the KUTS project.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate architectural design development from concept through construction stages
- Act as the liaison between architects, engineers, consultants and project stakeholders
- Ensure design documentation is accurate, complete and aligned with project requirements
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are met
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for compliance and quality
- Support submission processes for authority approvals and regulatory compliance
- Assist in resolving design and technical issues during construction
- Maintain proper documentation, records, and version control of drawings
- Participate in site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews
- Ensure adherence to project standards, sustainability goals, and safety requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural coordination and/or project management
- Prior experience in large-scale infrastructure or transit-related projects is an advantage (particularly relevant to KUTS)
- Proficient in design and coordination software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and authority submission procedures
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Able to commence work immediately or within short notice
