Understand project-related technical concepts, architecture, structure and associated disciplines, and apply this knowledge to accelerate project planning and design development deliverables.
Foster effective communication across functional departments and coordinate with key stakeholders in the property development lifecycle.
Lead the design development stage from initiation through to completion.
Translate conceptual design into practical, buildable solutions that meet project specifications on quality, cost-effectiveness and timelines.
Drive the team to ensure all project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Lead design coordination meetings and consistently review design details across all drawings and submissions by the consultant team.
Identify opportunities for quality enhancement, value engineering and cost optimisation through detailed design solutions.
Take accountability for overall design quality and consistency of work produced.
Demonstrate creativity and innovation in developing new parcels from conceptual design stage.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors / senior management.
Requirements
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or other related fields.
Minimum 10 years experience in architecture, project management or property development.
Proven proficiency in design development and leading projects from initiation to completion.
Strong conceptual design skills and applied technical knowledge to translate design into buildable solutions, while meeting project specifications on quality, cost and timelines.
Good understanding of authority compliance requirements, guidelines, rules and regulations related to property development.
Strong skills in 2D / 3D modelling software (including but not limited to AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop or equivalent).
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams).
Experience in high-rise projects is an added advantage.
Exceptional organisational, communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to coordinate across departments and various management levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative, innovative, cost-conscious and results-oriented mindset.
