Job Purpose:
To oversee the full lifecycle of environmental and renewable energy projectsfrom conceptualisation and feasibility through engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership
- Provide in-depth technical direction for design, engineering, procurement, and construction of biogas/BioCNG/waste-to-energy (WTE) plants.
- Conduct and review technical and financial feasibility studies, including feedstock analysis, technology selection, and site assessment.
Project Management
- Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects concurrently.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and project documentation.
- Supervise EPC contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors to ensure contractual compliance.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with local authorities, energy regulators, and certification bodies for plant licensing and compliance.
- Support internal management and investors with technical reports and project progress updates.
Business & Strategic Contribution
- Work closely with the Business Development team to evaluate new sites and expansion opportunities.
- Contribute technical input during project feasibility and financial modelling stages.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in energy, renewable energy, or process plant projects.
- Strong technical knowledge in biogas/biomass/WTE, EPC management, and plant commissioning.
- Proven track record in leading projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
