Responsibilities
- Full end-to-end responsibility for EPCC pipeline project execution
- Lead project planning, scheduling, execution, and commissioning activities
- Manage project budget, cost control, cash flow, and commercial performance
- Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor management
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, statutory requirements, and industry regulations
- Manage client, consultant, authority, and stakeholder relationships at senior level
- Lead risk management, mitigation planning, and project recovery strategies when required
- Ensure project milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Approve major technical, commercial, and contractual decisions
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, construction teams, and project managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Chemical Engineering (Master's Degree preferred)
- Minimum 10 years experience in EPCC / oil & gas / pipeline construction projects
- At least 10–15 years in Project Director / Senior Project Manager level
- Proven track record in large-scale pipeline projects (onshore/offshore EPCC exposure required)
- Strong experience in project execution, construction management, and commissioning phases
- Deep understanding of contract management (FIDIC or equivalent), commercial negotiation, and claims management
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations in oil & gas / petrochemical environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-billion / large CAPEX industrial projects
- PMP / PMI certification or equivalent is mandatory (no exception)
- Must be willing to work full-time site based in Kerteh, Terengganu
- Must reside within 40km radius of site OR be willing to relocate immediately (strict requirement)
- Must possess own reliable transport and valid driving license
- Must be available for extended working hours, emergency calls, and full project lifecycle commitment
- Must be able to operate in high-pressure, fast-track project environments
- Must pass medical examination, drug & alcohol screening, and full background verification
- Strong leadership discipline, authority, and decision-making capability are essential
