We at Faithful + Gould (Atkinsrealis) are looking to hire Project Engineer (Architecture) for our office at Penang, Malaysia.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the Engineering Manager and the Project Manager to coordinate the execution of engineering work and manage the whole engineering team of one execution office on a specific project.
- Act as the first point of contact for coordination/communication between the disciplines and the Engineering Manager on engineering service scope
- Communicates project changes / project decisions / priorities / status to the whole engineering team in one of the execution offices.
- Ensure the whole engineering team follows and executes the Quality Management System (QMS) procedures/processes / guidelines and instructions.
- Drive compliance to the PEP, EEP and DOR (Project Execution Plan / Engineering execution plan / Division of Responsibilities) and drive execution.
- Ensure the project quality/schedule and raises change notices for Engineering Manager consideration.
- Organize regular inter-discipline meetings and attends disciplines meeting. Draft the action plan and follow up on the closure of the action plans.
- Organize and manage inter-discipline communication and cross-check.
- If necessary, supports the discipline leader to develop and lead the deliverables.
- Coordinates and leads the production of inter-discipline deliverables (e.g. project reports, narratives, deliverable list).
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge
- At least 5+ years working experience in project engineering or engineering management.
- Architecture / Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Experience working with International engineering companies and clients and in Industrial projects
- Experience & background architecture and/or civil engineering in buildings.
- Strong technical background and wide knowledge on different disciplines in Engineering such as Process, Mechanical, HVAC, and Electrical.
- Good communication skills in both external communications (with client) and also internal inter-discipline communication.
- Familiar with the GMP and cGMP knowledge and general engineering practices
