Job description:
- Study, highlight and resolve any discrepancies in drawings and Bill of Quantity.
- To prepare the project budget and develop the initial project timeline for the projects, making certain that all scheduling conflicts are resolved with routine updates, with the MD's final approval.
- To coordinate and ensure daily construction activities are implemented within cost, time, quality and safety through close monitoring and coordination with the entire Construction Team and client.
- Track progress of every planning phase of the project and provide status reports to the Project Manager.
- Ensure project issues are resolved and escalated to the relevant parties on time.
- Responsible for requesting insurance, work permit, Bank Guarantee and other necessary documents required for the project.
- Liaise with the local authority to acquire valid project permits within the required timeframe.
- Prepare project claim submission every month before the contractual cut-off date.
- To prepare the Operational & Manual (O&M) and do submission client.
- Ensure project claims are successfully credited into the company bank account within the timeline after the claim submission.
- Responsible to ensure project is handed over to the client in a proper manner.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities delegated from time to time.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Degree holder in Electrical/ Civil Engineering.
- Electrical Power/Energy/Telecommunication or other related field.
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of project experience working in the 11kv, 33kv & 132kv underground power cables design, installation, testing and commissioning projects or related field.
- Experience with Infrastructure & Electrical construction sites preferred.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office Suite of tools, exposure to scheduling software, preferably Primavera (P6).
- Languages: English and Malay.
- Able to start workIMMEDIATELY.
