Project Engineer

The Project Engineer supports the planning, design, and execution of commercial solar projects, ensuring technical compliance, cost control, and timely delivery. The role exists to bridge engineering design, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality renewable energy projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering design, technical reviews, and site coordination throughout the solar project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project progress meets schedule and budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during construction and commissioning.
• Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and vendor submissions.
• Assist in risk identification, issue resolution, and change management during project execution.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.

Qualification/Experiences/Skills/Competencies and other Requirements:

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related).
• Preferred: Specialized studies or exposure in solar/renewable energy projects.
• Solar PV-related certifications (e.g. PV system design, safety, or commissioning) are preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in solar, power, or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of project execution, construction coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Solar PV system design fundamentals, single-line diagrams, and layout reviews.
• Familiar with project scheduling, technical documentation, and site supervision.
• Office-based with frequent site visits.
• May require work in outdoor construction environments and occasional extended hours.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and support project teams effectively.
