Project Engineer

Job Description:

• Responsible to receive Hand Over contract from Sales Department with knowing the scope of works/supply and requirements.
• Responsible to prepare, propose and execute project schedule / work programme and require reports as per contract.
• Responsible to monitoring, meeting, update and presenting of deliverable schedule and work progress report (Engineering Design, Procurement, Fabrication, Installation and T&C) to management and client.
• Responsible, monitoring and liaise with internal department (Design, Procurement, Factory, Service, Sales and Account) related with project.
• Responsible to selection, monitoring, negotiation and coordination with supplier / contractor to meet project cost, requirement, specification and deliverable.
• Responsible to prepare work order, purchase order and progress claim of supplier / contractor including progress claim to client.
• Responsible to prepare, submission and liaise with authorities (DOE/DOSH) and client on the approval of related project document requirements.
• Manage, planning, materials take off/ approval, control, and solve any problem issue related with project assigned. Manage, execute and monitor project including to ensure hand over the project with meet requirement, time frame and technical specification of contract.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English and the ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage
• At least 2 years of working experience in the project related field is required for this position. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Candidates must be prepared to be stationed at site, local or overseas for long periods of up to three months.
• Candidate must possess own transportation and willing to travel.
