Job Summary
To lead and coordinate overall new project development including new to modification new and existing tools form beginning until 1st mass production.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall project planning, scheduling and coordinating the mold trial.
- To act as a contact window person with customer in technical and engineering matters.
- To assist in quotation preparation.
- To prepare the New Part Information and BOM after part approved.
- Responsible follow up the engineering change given by customer and monitor running change of production.
- To handle customer enquiries or complaint of new project or tool modification.
- As the Project Leader of the assigned new project.
- Ensure all new products have customer's approval before production.
- Ensure ISO documentation are follow and in order.
- Assist in project improvement plan and cost saving plan .
- Accountable for the successful process and hand over completion of projects.
- To ensure the company 5s is in order.
- Perform other duties assigned by superior.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- Min 2-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer within the plastic injection moulding or medical device industry
- Knowledge and experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 134585 will be an advantage.
- Project coordination and cross-functional collaboration
- Process improvement and problem-solving mindset
