Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks completion.

Responsibilities

  • Project & Technical Execution - Manage the technical and operational aspects of projects involving high-voltage primary equipment, including power transformers (132kV and above).
  • Execute awarded project scopes and coordinate with vendors to ensure delivery meets contractual, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and international standards (e.g. IEC, IEEE, JIS).
  • Review and support technical drawings, specifications, and documentation submitted by vendors.
  • Prepare and manage project specifications, schedules, and document control lists.
  • Stakeholder & Coordination - Liaise with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to support smooth project execution.
  • Participate in site meetings and technical discussions to resolve project-related issues.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, technical issues, and risks.
  • Tender & Commercial Support - Support RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and bid submissions from a technical perspective.
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, and contract administration teams to support contract execution and delivery targets.
  • Continuous Development & Team Contribution - Apply company standards, engineering codes, and internal procedures in daily work.
  • Participate in training, knowledge sharing, and internal technical reviews.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned to support business and project needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage primary equipment,

particularly power transformers. Also open for fresh graduates to apply.

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of transmission systems and primary equipment engineering.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
