Role Description
VME Technical ServicesSdnBhdis excited to offer a career opportunity foramotivatedengineerto join our dynamic team in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Selangor.In this role, thesuccessful candidatewill work closely with the Project Manager and senior engineers to support the execution of engineering projects.The Project Engineer willassistin preparing technical documentation and contributing to project deliverables to ensure they meet required standards and timelines.This position offers valuable hands-on experience, exposure to real-world engineeringprojectsand the opportunity to develop technical skills within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assistin reviewingtheprojectscope and engineering requirements of the project
- PracticeProject Execution Plan including preparing and monitoring project schedulesfor engineering, drafting,procurementand fabricationactivities.
- Work closely with engineers from various disciplinesto support engineering activities required for project delivery.
- Assistin reviewingclient specificationsand ensuring compliance withpurchase orderand projectdocumentationrequirements.
- Support coordination between internal engineering teams, vendors, clients, and external contractors.
- Perform assigned tasks within your area of technicalexpertiseunder the guidance of senior engineers or the Project Manager.
- Help track project progress and support coordination of engineering activities to ensure schedules and project milestones are achieved.
- Assistin managing technical queries from internal teams,clientsand external stakeholders.
- Support documentation control, progress reporting, and project record management to ensure smooth project execution.
- Contribute to resolving technical issues and coordinating activities acrossdifferent phasesof the project until completion.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology.
- 2-3years of experience in engineering, projectsupportor related technical roles.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles, project workflows, and technical documentation.
- Abilityto read and interpret engineering drawings such as GA, P&IDs, Process FlowDiagramsand Data Sheets will be an advantage
- Familiarity with industrial equipment such as piping systems, pumps, heatexchangersand instrumentation will be an advantage.
- Exposure to industry standards such as ISA, ASME, API, IEC,NECor ATEXwill be an added advantage.
- Good communicationand coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in common office and engineering software tools.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and willing to grow in a project-based engineering environment.
