Job Description

Build the landmarks of tomorrow. We're looking for a Project Execution Manager to lead our next masterpiece from blueprint to handover.

The Project Execution Manager (PEM) is responsible for driving end to end project execution across Engineering, Fulfilment, and cross functional stakeholders for large, complex customer projects. This role ensures seamless coordination, structured planning, effective resource forecasting, and timely delivery of all project milestones. Acting as a central orchestrator, the PEM translates customer requirements into actionable work packages, maintains strong communication flows, and proactively identifies and mitigates risks. The role also provides leadership and coaching to developing PEMs, contributing to a high performing and collaborative project management community.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate all required execution activities within the Project Management Office (PMO), covering Engineering, Contracting (non commercial scope), and Fulfillment (Prefab, MM, and Specials) for large projects up to Tier 2.
  • Understand the link between Engineering solutions and Fulfillment implications. Proactively initiate the necessary discussions internally and with the customer (in alignment with the Construction Project Manager CPM) to ensure a seamless and high quality customer experience.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into clear and manageable work packages. Develop and maintain the internal project plan in coordination with the CPM and various global and local stakeholders, ensuring alignment with construction phases, schedules, and customer timelines.
  • Forecast resource needs based on the project plan, ensuring accurate demand and supply matching of key Hilti resources (Engineers, Modelers, Fulfillment teams, etc.) across multiple projects.
  • Plan, prioritize, and schedule tasks for the project team aligned with on time project execution. Drive regular internal project communication (e.g., weekly project calls) and actively engage and motivate the cross functional team to deliver on assigned responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to PEM 1 roles across the Hilti group, contributing to capability building and performance excellence.
  • Support the development of newer or less experienced Project Execution Managers by fostering a positive team culture, sharing expertise, and enabling learning through show & tell sessions.
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner and coach to a broad network of regional and local Project Execution Managers, Construction Project Managers (CPMs), and Project Fulfillment Managers.
  • Identify project risks together with the CPM, develop a comprehensive Risk Assessment Matrix, and define preventive and corrective actions to mitigate both internal and external risks.
