Project Executive (freight)

Reporting to Malaysia Operations Manager/Regional/Country Manager (Singapore)

Overview

We are supporting a European logistics and shipping organisation in hiring an experienced Logistics / Project Executive to manage end-to-end shipment execution and client coordination.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can independently manage logistics operations while maintaining strong client communication and service delivery standards.

• Coordinate with clients and suppliers on cargo readiness, collection and shipment requirements
• Source suitable freight solutions and sailing schedules based on shipment needs
• Liaise with carriers and partners to obtain freight rates and manage bookings
• Coordinate with overseas offices for pricing, shipment execution and status updates
• Handle full shipment lifecycle including:
• Booking confirmation
• Documentation preparation
• Shipment tracking
• Delivery coordination
• Monitor shipment progress daily and provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders
• Prepare quotations and invoices accurately and within required timelines
• Ensure smooth execution of logistics operations while maintaining service quality and responsiveness

• Around 8–10 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or shipping operations
• Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics and freight processes
• Ability to manage shipments independently with minimal supervision
• Professional communication skills when dealing with clients and stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong coordination and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment

• Experience handling project logistics or complex shipments
• Exposure to regional or international shipment coordination
