We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Project Financial Analysis & Pricing Manager to support our Project Development-Financial & Commercial team. This role is critical in ensuring the financial viability, planning, and performance of projects from inception through execution. You will play a key role in financial modeling, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Commercial and Pricing
- Lead Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies and commercial frameworks for energy projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with vendors and partners to optimize project profitability.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with project development to ensure financial sustainability.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to assess competitive pricing and emerging market trends that impact project viability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project finance and legal teams to ensure smooth project execution from a commercial standpoint.
Project Financial Analyst
- Financial Analysis and modeler: Develop complex financial models to assess project profitability and financial viability. Analyse the financial performance of projects, focusing on metrics such as Project IRR, Equity IRR, and sensitivity analysis.
- Forecasting: Prepare detailed cash flow projections and financial forecasts to support decision-making for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Commercial, Project Management, and Project Corporate Finance teams to ensure accurate financial data integration into project plans.
- Tendering and Proposal Development: Support the preparation of tender documents, proposals, and bids, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
Qualification/Experiences/Skills/Competencies & other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Proven experience (5-6 years) in project development in financial role, preferably in a multinational corporation or accounting firm.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and standards and experience with consolidation and project management tools.
- Preferably in a multinational corporation with project background.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
