Position Overview
TheProject Interior Designer (Drawing) Executiveis responsible for designing, planning, and producing technical drawings for F&B outlets, ensuring that all interior projects are executed efficiently and align with brand standards. The role involves preparing detailed layout plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and collaborating with the operations and construction teams to implement interior designs for new and renovated outlets.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in interior design, technical drafting, and project coordination within the F&B or hospitality sector.
Requirements
- Education:Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Experience:25 years in interior design or project drawing, preferably in F&B, hospitality, or retail industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar design software.
- Ability to produce 2D and 3D drawings and renderings.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and fit-out requirements.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to conduct site visits and liaise with vendors and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Design & Drawing
- Develop interior design concepts for new F&B outlets and renovations in line with brand guidelines.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings.
- Work on layouts for seating, display areas, and functional spaces to optimize customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all designs meet safety, accessibility, and regulatory standards.
Site Measurement & Coordination
- Conduct on-site measurements to accurately capture spatial dimensions for design purposes.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure designs are implemented as planned.
- Provide technical support during the construction and fit-out phase.
Project Management Support
- Assist in managing timelines and deliverables for multiple interior projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, marketing, finance) to ensure projects are within budget and specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation of design drawings, approvals, and revisions.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure interior designs reflect the brand image.
- Keep updated with trends in interior design, materials, and F&B outlet layouts.
- Suggest innovative solutions to improve aesthetic appeal, functionality, and customer experience.
