Projects Management Lead

We're looking for a passionate, strategic, and hands-on Projects Management Lead to join our team and drive both creative and operational excellence.

Position Overview:

The Projects Management Lead plays a key role in driving both creative and operational excellence. This role ensures smooth execution of design projects, branding initiatives, and store operations, including basic maintenance and coordination with contractors. You will oversee design quality, project timelines, and operational support while working closely with cross-functional teams. Flexibility, fast action, and hands-on problem-solving are essential, as the role includes both creative leadership and adhoc tasks assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage end-to-end project timelines, ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Review, refine, and approve design concepts to maintain a strong and consistent brand identity.
  • Coordinate with contractors, printers, designers, and suppliers for smooth project execution.
  • Negotiate pricing, timelines, and scopes to achieve cost-effective, high-quality results.
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to translate requirements into design solutions.
  • Guide and mentor design team members, delegate tasks, and ensure quality output.
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs on store facilities and equipment, including freezer units, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing technical issues and coordinating with external contractors for maintenance or repair work.
  • Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and other resources needed for operational support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and prepare maintenance reports as needed.
  • Provide basic equipment support to store.
  • Keep up with design, operational, and industry trends, and propose creative or process improvements.
  • Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering or any related fields
  • 35 years experience in design, project management, or operations support roles.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills
  • A valuable team player and able to work independently
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong portfolio that showcases design skills and project execution.
  • Hands-on experience working with contractors, suppliers, and negotiation for pricing and timelines.
  • Fast in action, proactive, and able to make quick decisions.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools.
  • Basic technical knowledge or willingness to handle maintenance tasks for equipment and facilities.
  • Experience in F&B, retail, or branding is a plus.
