Job Description
Job Summary
The PM plays a critical role for the end-to-end project management of new products transferring to mass production. Ensure projects are delivered on time, with quality, and within budget. This role serves as a key interface between customers, sales and various functions, coordinating cross-functional resources, resolving critical issues during the project lifecycle, and driving the successful launch of products.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
1 Develop detailed project plans, defining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
2 Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and take corrective actions promptly to ensure the project stays on track.
3 Manage scope changes and assess their impact on time, cost, and resources.
- Cross-Functional Coordination & Communication
1 Act as the core hub to coordinate whole team.
2 Organize and chair project meetings (e.g., weekly meetings, milestone reviews) and track the closure of Action Items.
- Report project status, risks, and required support to management.
1 Risk Management
2 Identify potential project risks (technical, supply chain, quality, cost, etc.) and maintain a risk register.
3 Develop risk mitigation strategies to proactively avoid or reduce the impact of risks.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 1 years of project management experience. Background in new energy, batteries, automotive, or high-end manufacturing industries is preferred. Experience in complete product NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from 0 to 1 is preferred.
- Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and stress management skills. Fluent communication in English and Chinese is preferred.
- Strong results-oriented mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.). Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, SAP PM, etc.) is preferred.
