Responsibilities
Team Introduction: Our Finance Shared Services Center provides global financial services for the group, with the aim of strengthening group management and control, optimizing business processes, reducing financial costs, and improving management efficiency. We are seeking an experienced AP Project Management Specialist with a strong background in finance operations, process improvement, and shared service center environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in process optimization and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to support coaching, training, and strategic oversight. - Drive performance monitoring, workflow enhancements, and implementation of best practices to increase team efficiency. - Ensure teams meet key performance indicators (KPIs), including SLA compliance, quality standards, and productivity targets. - Identify operational bottlenecks and areas for improvement to streamline processes and optimize workflows. - Manage escalations and unexpected operational challenges, ensuring timely resolution and business continuity. - Lead projects and change initiatives, such as compliance with Malaysia's e-invoicing requirements. - Work cross-functionally with internal teams, senior leadership, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables. - Prepare and deliver regular progress reports and insights to senior management.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s): - 3 years of working experience in finance operations, or within a finance shared services environment, particularly in Accounts Payable (AP). - Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Strong ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with stakeholders across teams and departments. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with global partners across different time zones and cultural backgrounds. - Demonstrated experience in managing business risks, handling escalations, and resolving crisis situations, with a proven track record in driving process efficiency. - Hands-on experience in quality monitoring and KPI optimization (e.g., SLA adherence, accuracy, productivity). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify, assess, and resolve operational issues. - Fluency in Mandarin is required as key systems including data platforms, and documentation are in Mandarin and is required for SLA monitoring and report analysis. Preferred Qualification(s): - Experience in building or scaling operations from the ground up (0 to 1) is a strong advantage. - Proactive, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement is a strong plus. - Accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, AAT, CPA) are a plus.
