About the Roles:
The project manager will manage the project from design to production. This role will be responsible for scope of work control, schedule control, cost control, risk assessment and control, and follow up the entire project milestone and issues to ensure project's success. He or she will be responsible for coordination among customers, vendors and internal departments.
Responsibility:
- Project schedule planning in pre-sales stage and schedule control in post-sales stage.
- Manage cross-functional groups both inside company and outside company to ensure project completed on schedule within budget.
- Control project from multiple aspects in terms of issue tracking, risk, quality, scope, cost and schedule.
- Ensure deliveries on schedule before mass production stage.
- Coordinate with customer/vendors.
Education Requirement/ Backgrounds:
- Bachelor's in computer engineering, Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Project Management role in ASIC design related field.
Professional Knowledge:
- Great understanding of ASIC IC design and production flow (including package/test), able to coordinate design effort among different function teams.
- Familiar with project management tools such Microsoft Project and Office.
- Certification such PMP/CAPM is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills with high level proficiency in English. Fluent Mandarin / Japanese is a plus.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills required. Ability to follow through open issues.
- Team player, dedicated, organized and motivated. Able to work under minimum supervision.
