Job Title: Project Manager (Application & Infrastructure Migration)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Role Duration: 12 months (extendable)
Experience Required:
6–8+ Years in IT project management or delivery
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to manage the day-to-day execution of application and infrastructure migration activities. The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple technical teams, maintain schedules, manage risks, and ensure operational readiness and compliance in line with enterprise and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day execution of application and infrastructure migration activities for assigned scope
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including:
- Applications
- Infrastructure
- Network
- Security
- Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Maintain detailed project schedules, RAID logs, and dependency tracking
- Support delivery-level risk, security, and compliance activities
- Prepare and validate readiness artefacts (runbooks, monitoring, backup, DR evidence) to support Operational Readiness Review (ORR) and audit requirements
- Escalate delivery, readiness, or compliance risks to program leadership
- Track progress and ensure timely resolution of issues and dependencies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in application migration, infrastructure, or platform projects
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management discipline
- Experience in coordinating multi-technical teams
- Understanding of audit support and operational readiness processes
- Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments preferred
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Detail-oriented with good documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise-scale migration programs
- Exposure to data center, application, or platform migration projects
- Familiarity with ORR and audit processes
