Role Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing power transmission and distribution projects from contract award through delivery and final acceptance. The role requires strong coordination between customers, internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to technical and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of power transmission and distribution projects, from project kick-off to final completion.
- Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
- Manage project costs and ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
- Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation measures when necessary.
- Coordinate factory inspections, testing, shipment, site installation, and commissioning activities when required.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements.
- Prepare regular project reports for internal management and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in power transmission and distribution or related electrical infrastructure projects.
- Experience with electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, protection systems, or substations is preferred.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in EPC, utility, or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with substation projects, MV/HV switchgear, or grid-related equipment.
