The Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing construction projects from inception to commissioning. This role requires an experienced leader capable of supervising multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontractors, liaising with consultants and authorities, and ensuring full compliance with contractual, budgetary, safety, and quality standards.
Candidates MUST have handson Data Center (DC) project experience, with strong familiarity in missioncritical systems and MEPintensive environments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage full project schedules, milestones, and execution plans.
- Project Planning & Execution
- Identify technical requirements, special methods, and alternative procedures for each project.
Oversee project delivery from conceptual phase through construction and commissioning.
Provide timely progress updates, reports, and risk assessments to management.
- Stakeholder, Consultant & Authority Coordination
- Liaise closely with consultants, subcontractors, client representatives, government authorities, and internal departments including contracts, finance, and admin.
Conduct inspections and internal audits to ensure adherence to required standards.
- Site Management & Supervision
- Supervise and guide site staff, ensuring compliance with specifications, schedules, quality standards, and the Project Quality Plan.
Monitor and evaluate subcontractor and supplier performance.
- Cost, Budget & Contract Management
- Oversee budgeting, cost estimation, variation orders, and contractual obligations.
Resolve issues such as delays, cost implications, emergencies, and technical discrepancies.
- Risk & Issue Resolution
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks from early project stages.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Diploma in Civil/Structural/Building Engineering or Construction Management (overseas graduates preferred).
- At least 8 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in building and infrastructure.
- Mandatory: Minimum 1 full cycle Data Center construction project (or major expansion) as Project Manager / Senior Engineer.
- Strong understanding of engineering design, technical specifications, MEP systems, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
