Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects from initiation through to closeout.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define clear project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Ensure that projects adhere rigorously to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Proactively monitor and manage project risks, issues, and changes.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project updates.
- Provide guidance and exemplary leadership to project teams, which may include engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Continuously monitor project progress and performance, reporting on key performance metrics.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
- Effectively manage project finances, encompassing budgeting and cost control.
- Ensure that project documentation remains accurate and up-to-date.
- Contribute valuably to post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions.
Requirements:
- Malaysian citizenship is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience in project management within the project development industry, with a particular focus on Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) and Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication (EPF).
- Proven track record of serving as a Project Manager in at least two (2) similar-scale or larger projects, specifically specializing in plant design and construction within the Waste Management and Process Plant sectors.
- Proficiency in Project and Construction Management, including related execution knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and effectively manage a team of departments.
- Expertise in maintaining Project schedule, Cost control, and Project budget according to Project Management best practices.
- Proficiency in Contract Management and strong business writing skills.
