You'll drive end-to-end project execution from design through production, establishing the Project Management Office while balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and strategic business objectives.

What are you going to do

As Project Manager at Neways Malaysia, you take ownership of complex projects spanning design, engineering, and production phases. You translate customer requirements into executable roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure projects deliver strategic, operational, and financial success while maintaining profitability and cost discipline.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project execution from design and engineering through production completion
• Translate customer requirements into clear roadmaps and detailed execution plans aligned with technical feasibility
• Establish and structure the Project Management Office framework for Neways Malaysia operations
• Drive cross-functional coordination across Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Business Development
• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and profitability optimization
• Coach and guide multidisciplinary project teams toward delivery excellence
• Oversee risk, issue, and change management using formal project management frameworks
• Engage regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local requirements for new project development

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• Minimum 10 years of project or program management experience in high-tech manufacturing environments
• Proven track record delivering complex projects from design through production phases
• Project management certification such as IPMA-C, PgM, MSP, or equivalent
• Expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
• Experience establishing project management offices and governance frameworks
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and stakeholder management in manufacturing contexts
