*This is contractual role for 6 - 9 months.
The Project Manager will report to the Director of Change Management and serve as a key member of the leadership team. This role is responsible for leading transformational change by aligning sourcing and procurement strategies across the APAC region.
The position will drive the deployment, adoption, and optimization of the Ariba sourcing and procurement platform, working closely with category leaders to execute regional category strategies. The role aims to improve compliance, reduce spend outside approved buying channels, and embed best-in-class procurement practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a domain expert and internal business consultant, leading transformation initiatives by aligning business needs with enabling technologies and innovative solutions.
- Lead change management efforts related to the Ariba Procurement module and associated processes, working cross-functionally across the organization to ensure adoption and sustainability.
- Enable and support horizontal initiatives with category leaders and business partners to drive cost reduction, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Support core procurement processes by providing required inputs, tools, data, and insights to stakeholders.
- Be accountable for the execution and integrity of the functional architecture across team operations and Corporate Functions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal customers, business partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational and project objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement initiatives while ensuring adherence to procurement ethics and policies.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or Supply Chain preferred
- Strong Business English proficiency (written and verbal)
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- In-depth, hands-on experience with SAP Ariba sourcing and procurement tools
- Proven ability to lead transformation and change initiatives within complex, highly matrixed, and global organizations
- Strong strategic thinking combined with disciplined operational execution
- Data-driven decision maker with excellent influencing and stakeholder alignment skills
- Demonstrated track record of delivering value-added solutions
- Strong project management skills with a clear focus on customer experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at all organizational levels
- Effective in managing and influencing remote and virtual teams
- Change management champion with the ability to gather input, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve programs
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional influence skills, working with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver transformation and continuous improvement objectives
- Certifications related to Network Security (e.g., CISSP) are an advantage but not required
