Project Manager - Transformation

Responsibilities

Project Initiation & Planning

• Develop project charter, objectives, scope and delivery approach.
• Identify and manage key stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resources and budgets.
• Define project scope, deliverables and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
• Identify project risks, dependencies and mitigation plans.
• Establish project governance and communication plans.

Project Execution

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end project delivery across business, technology and vendor teams.
• Manage project resources, timelines, deliverables and quality.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with agreed scope and objectives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and project communications.
• Coordinate vendors and third-party resources where required.

Monitoring & Controlling

• Monitor project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks and issues.
• Manage project changes, dependencies and escalations.
• Ensure project deliverables meet agreed standards and requirements.
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and management.
• Drive timely resolution of project issues and risks.

Project Closure

• Ensure all project deliverables and outstanding activities are completed.
• Coordinate project closure, handover and documentation.
• Conduct lessons learned and post-project review where required.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Solid end-to-end Project Management experience within banking, insurance or financial services.
• Experience in Insurance / Bancassurance / Insurance Transformation projects is highly preferred.
• Experience managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Good understanding of Business Transformation frameworks and project governance.
• Strong project planning, risk, issue, stakeholder and resource management skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technology stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and manage projects in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Comfortable working with diverse and geographically distributed teams.
• Fluent English is mandatory; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is required based on project requirements.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
