EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY: Project Manager (Electrical) High-Rise M&E Specialist

Location: Kuala Lumpur

We are representing a premier M&E contractora true engineering powerhouse known for delivering complex, integrated systems for Malaysia's most iconic high-rise developments. My client doesn't just build systems; they build the environments where people live, work, and thrive.

They are currently looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong Electrical engineering background to take full ownership of major M&E packages.

The Role

You will be entrusted with end-to-end project leadership for high-profile, high-rise construction projects. This is not a coordination rolethis is a command role. From design inception to final commissioning, you will own the technical delivery, financial health, and stakeholder relationships.

What You'll Do

Full Project Lifecycle Management: Lead electrical engineering packages from design development through to testing, commissioning, and handover.

Financial Control: Prepare budgets, manage cash flow, certify payments, and handle variation orders to protect margins.

Leadership: Mentor site teams (engineers, supervisors) and drive subcontractor performance.

Safety & Quality: Champion a Safety First culture and enforce rigorous QA/QC standards.

Client Interface: Act as the primary representative in all meetings with clients, consultants, and main contractors.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience in M&E building construction.

Proven track record managing Electrical packages for high-rise buildings (towers, commercial skyscrapers, residential complexes).

Strong technical grasp of building services and construction methodologies.

Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, and MS Office.

Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that command respect on site.

THE DEAL BREAKER (Must-Have):

You must have hands-on experience managing the FULL PROJECT LIFECYCLE of a high-rise M&E project.

Your application must clearly demonstrate your direct involvement from initial design stages through to final commissioning and handover.

Preferred (Strong Advantage):

Professional accreditation (Ir., P.Eng., PMP).

Established network and familiarity with Malaysian construction regulations and local industry landscape.
