Project Support Specialist

Manage, plan, track, monitor, report and deliver a range of project work packages across multiple projects on the Product and Services plan.

Ensure that project work package is delivered scope, schedule, budget and quality.

Manage day to day aspects of the project work package as allocated.

Effectively applies Cochlear project management methodology and enforces project standards.

Ensures that the project work package outcomes comply with Cochlear quality standards.

Escalates project work package risks, issues or changes to the project manager.

Monitor and report on project work package deliverables progress as directed.

Independently manage small project work packages as directed.

Works in collaboration with the project manager, engineer, vendor or test house to create a plan and track the progress of the project work package.

Coordinates meetings and maintains reporting mechanism to plan and track the progress of the work package delivery

Worked on a project on various product development projects

Strong interest to work across various types of projects (systems, desktop software, mobile apps, firmware and hardware projects) and across various disciplines.

Interest in the project management discipline.

Ability to work independently with limited guidance.

Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Good coordination and organisational skills.

Experience working in a team-oriented, product development environment.

Ideal:

Working knowledge of the principles of project management

Experience working on projects in a regulated environment.

Possesses general understanding in the areas of product development and system design.
