Proposal Engineer
Job Description
- To review and evaluate the client's technical and commercial requirements to qualify compliance/deviation for bid participation.
- To prepare, review, and finalize all tender proposals with Management before submission of tender to client.
- To prepare and compile commercial and technical proposals, drawing for submission after management's approval.
- To respond to post technical and commercial clarification.
- To prepare and review budgets of awarded tenders.
- To participate in all contract negotiations, bid clarification meetings, pre-award meetings, and contract kick-off meetings.
- Conduct a proper handover of the proposal to the project team for a successful bid to ensure the project is executed in compliance with the client's requirements.
- To ensure that all tenders are responded to timely with the desired quality and competitiveness.
- To obtain and negotiate quotations from suppliers to ensure competitive cost prices.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by immediate superior / manager / HOD from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess a Degree in Engineering, Master's degree, or equivalent,
- 1 to 2 years experience in a Proposal Engineer position
- Have experience working in the Solar Energy Industry.
- Able to work independently and availability at the time of proposal preparation finalization
- Effective computer skills: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Company software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
