Assisting Head, Business Management Unit to deliver strategic and operational support to the Government Business Unit and LPPSA, ensuring alignment with the Company's business goals and performance targets.
Job Description
- Receive, verify, and record claim notifications and required documents from LPPSA.
- Check claim submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with certificate terms and LPPSA requirements.
- Liaise with relevant internal departments (e.g. Claims, Policy Servicing & Finance) to obtain necessary information for claim assessment.
- Monitor and track each claim case against LPPSA's agreed Turnaround Time (TAT) to ensure prompt processing.
- Prepare and submit claim status updates and reports to LPPSA within the required timeframe.
- Maintain accurate claim records and documentation for audit and reference purposes.
- Receive surrender notifications from LPPSA for loan cancellation cases.
- Coordinate with Policy Servicing and Actuary on the CSV and CWC calculations.
- Ensure timely refund of unused contribution.
- Liaise with LPPSA, internal departments, and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align business objectives
- Regularly collect, compile, and update operational data for submission to HQ.
- Monitor and track information requests from HQ to ensure timely responses.
- Maintain accurate records of communications and submissions for audit and reference purposes.
- Review system enhancement or new system requirements and prepare test scenarios.
- Coordinate with IT and end-users to plan and schedule UAT sessions.
- Execute test cases, document results, and report any defects or issues found.
- Validate fixes and confirms the system meets business needs before final approval
- Carry out ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Superior whenever required.
- Handle daily calls and inquiries from customers, business partners, and stakeholders promptly and professionally.
- Prioritize and manage multiple ad-hoc tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
Qualification / Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Banking, Economics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related fields
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong interest in Operations, Claims Management, Insurance/Takaful, and Digital Transformation
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Exposure to data reporting, system testing, UAT, or process improvement initiatives is an added advantage.
