Job Description:

  • Assist in coordinating projects with internal staff and external contractors to meet project deadlines under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support in preparing technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Assist in conducting price comparisons, verification of PRs/DOs/Invoices, and monitoring project budget.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing the starting and completion times of projects.
  • Support in ensuring compliance with local environmental regulations, standards, and permits.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and government agencies on environmental matters as assigned.
  • Participate in awareness training and help promote environmental best practices among employees.
  • Assist in preparing proposals for new business development, including project conceptual design, implementation schedule, operating plan, contract/legal review, budget, project risk analysis, mapping, feasibility study, and site observation report.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing project schedules; support in investigating and resolving schedule issues on assigned projects.
  • Provide support in technical direction, project management activities, and assistance to developers, consultants, outside agencies, and engineering staff regarding capital projects.
  • Assist in performing construction management and field observations for various capital projects.
  • Provide support in supervision, technical direction, and assistance to other Project Engineers when required.
  • Assist in preparing budget estimates for all capital improvement projects; support in reviewing materials, methods, equipment, specifications, cost estimates, and other documents related to project design and construction.
  • Assist in reviewing and supporting negotiations of contracts for best value.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Job Specifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Studies, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in project management or project operations. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as well.
  • Meticulous and systematic in organizing own work processes.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with sharp analytical and evaluation abilities.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work in Seelong, Johor.
