Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Protg - Trainee Software Developer based in Subang Jaya, with the flexibility for remote work arrangements. The selected candidate will assist in software development projects, focusing on back-end development and object-oriented programming. Daily responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software systems while collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality technology solutions. The trainee will also learn and apply industry best practices and emerging technologies pertinent to the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliverhigh quality application development work that complies with the standards set and fulfil the requirements outlined.
• Perform requirementanalysis, design, coding, documentation, testingandsupport for new/existing applications.
• Meet the targets and deadlines as per the project schedule.
• Pro-actively seek clarification and guidance when in doubt.
• Provide in-line documentation that meets the requirement for systems documentation & maintenance purposes.
• Providesystemsandend userdocumentation thatisaccurate,completeandconformstothe standards set.
• Participateinad-hoctaskswhendeemedrequiredbasedonworkload,targetsanddeadlines imposed on the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Possess good programming skills with familiarity in Microsoft .Net tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of .Net programming preferably using C# (ASP.NET Core MVC).
• Fundamental knowledge of Web browsers, Servers and Web application & Client Server architecture.

• 1-year tenure under the PROTG programme.
• Opportunity to be converted to a direct contract employee upon successful completion of the PROTG tenure.
• RM2,000 monthly allowance throughout the PROTG period.
