Develop and execute crisis communication strategies for critical incidents by providing timely and strategic responses to protect the brand's reputation.
Develop and train internal teams on crisis communication protocols and media handling during incidents.
Lead the creation of high-quality communications materials, including press releases, official statements, media responses, key message documents, speeches and executive talking points.
Serve as the quality gatekeeper for high-risk internal and external communications, ensuring message clarity, tone, and alignment with brand values across teams.
Monitor media coverage, social media, public sentiment, and industry trends to identify potential risks and provide real-time updates to the management through periodic reporting and analysis.
Assist in planning, executing and coordinating events, including press conferences, media briefings, and community initiatives including managing stakeholders such as media representatives, participants and partners as required.
Track, report and analyse performance post events/initiatives/critical incidents including recommending actionable insights to refine future execution and to identify internal procedural improvements.
Build and manage relationships with media, industry associations and regulatory bodies to strengthen brand credibility and build strategic partnerships
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
At least 2 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, crisis communications or similar roles.
Strong verbal communication skills; confident in handling media inquiries and speaking engagements.
Comfortable using monitoring tools, dashboards, or analytics reports to guide decisions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Flexible and adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
